tom Harsevoort

Tom Harsevoort is an artist living in Saint Paul. He was born in southern Wisconsin and raised in the Milwaukee area. He is also a guitarist and singer, playing professionally since the age of 16.

Tom studied drawing and painting at the Universities of Wisconsin and Minnesota. His main body of work is landscape painting, influenced by Impressionism, American Tonalism, and the Barbizon School. While most of his scenes are taken from imagery around the Twin Cities, he has also created drawings and paintings during his travels. These include Paris, Fontainebleau Forest, Windsor UK, Amsterdam, California, and Nepal.
