Mary Axelson
Mary did postgraduate studies in painting and drawing at the University of Minnesota and St. Thomas University. Her work is featured in the Minnesota Governor’s mansion, and her paintings are shown nationally and internationally. Recent awards have included 2nd Place at the 2016 Aitkin Plein Air Festival, 4th place at the Minnesota State Fair 102nd Fine Arts Exhibition, Honorable Mention at the 38th Bloomington Art Center Members Exhibition, and Corporate Art Force Artist of the Month, April, 2015. She has taught watercolor painting for many years.
