Michael Emmons, a sculptor of contemporary art, was born in northern Iowa, and has lived with his family in Minneapolis, Minnesota the majority of his life. "I worked in the steel industry for 30 years before I decided to explored my artistic abilities. When I opened the door to the art world, it quickly became a full-time endeavor. Fortunately, my background in metal enabled me to bring my designs to life."

Currently, Michael has a number of pieces throughout the world, including Dallas, San Francisco and London.
