Dineen Linza was born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 29, 1969. She was raised in Mesa, Arizona. Her love for art was nurtured and developed in the Fine Art programs of Mesa Community College and the Colorado Institute of Art.

She began painting in oil and pastel and expanded her styles and techniques working in acrylic. Inspired by the dramatic light and shadow s found in the work of Caravaggio, Dineen is also inspired by the work of Magritte, Dali, Cezanne, Gauguin and Thiebauld.
Her love of the exaggeration of natural light and shadow is evidenced in many of her paintings. Prolific and multi talented, she also loves to experiment with new processes and diverse styles. “I love the way alla Prima paint strokes describe form,” she states.
